Licence & permit expiry tracker
Every business licence, permit and registration in one list, with a renew-by date for each.
Free · Excel, Google Sheets & CSV
Free spreadsheet templates for tracking licences, certificates, contracts, insurance, inspections and renewals. Each one calculates days left, colours what is due in 30 or 90 days, and has a dashboard. No sign-up: the download starts when you click.
Type the date from the document. The sheet does the rest.
Start here
Three steps, a colour key and what each column means. Example rows start with "Example –" so they are easy to delete.
The tracker
Dropdowns, filters and a frozen header. Days left, status and an act-by date are calculated for 500 rows.
Dashboard
Counts by status and the next 10 dates, always as of today.
Import to ExpiryEdge
The same rows in bulk-import columns, in case you ever want reminders sent for you. Ignore it otherwise.

A "Start here" sheet with instructions and a colour key, the tracker itself with dropdowns and status colours, a Dashboard with counts by status and the next 10 dates, a Lists sheet for the dropdowns, and an "Import to ExpiryEdge" sheet in bulk-import format. Some add a matrix or history sheet.
Days left is the date minus today. Below zero is Expired, 0 to 30 days is Due ≤30 days, 31 to 90 is Due ≤90 days, and anything later is OK. Each row also gets an act-by date: the date minus a lead time you choose.
Free templates, not legal advice. They track the dates you enter; they do not decide which rules apply to you.
