Does ExpiryEdge offer a free trial?
Yes. Every paid plan starts with a free trial period - no credit card required. You get full access to all features included in your chosen plan so you can explore ExpiryEdge before you commit.
What can I track with ExpiryEdge?
ExpiryEdge is built to track anything with an expiry date: employee certifications and licenses, insurance policies, domain registrations, software subscriptions, contracts and agreements, vehicle registrations, food safety dates, and any other document or record that needs periodic renewal. Custom templates let you add your own field types and workflows.
How do message credits work?
Message credits are used to send SMS and WhatsApp reminder notifications. Each SMS message consumes one credit; WhatsApp messages may consume a different amount depending on length. Email notifications are always unlimited across all plans. Unused credits on the BusinessMax and PowerUser plans roll over to the following month.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade immediately and the price difference is prorated for the remainder of your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. No penalties or fees apply.
What is the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Yearly billing gives you one month free - you pay for 11 months and get 12. The per-month cost is lower than the monthly plan, and you are billed as a single annual charge. Monthly billing charges month-to-month with no long-term commitment.
How many users can access my account?
The number of seats depends on your plan: ProEssentials supports up to 5 users, BusinessMax up to 10 users, and PowerUser up to 50 users. Each user gets their own login and can be assigned specific expiry records and notifications.
What notification channels does ExpiryEdge support?
ExpiryEdge sends reminders via Email (unlimited on all plans), SMS, and WhatsApp. You can configure how far in advance each reminder fires - for example 90 days, 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiry - using the built-in workflow engine.
Is there a setup fee or long-term contract?
No setup fees and no long-term contracts. Monthly plans can be cancelled any time before the next billing date. Yearly plans are billed annually; cancellations prevent auto-renewal at the end of the paid year.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation so you can export it. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted from our servers in accordance with our privacy policy.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS and at rest using AES-256. ExpiryEdge is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. User authentication is handled through Firebase Auth with optional multi-factor authentication.
