How to share compliance status with a client or auditor
Create a read-only public link showing selected compliance status with clients, auditors, or partners without giving them account access.
What is it
A Shared Compliance Page (portal) is a public, read-only web page showing a hand-picked subset of your expiries - optionally password-protected - that anyone with the link can view without logging into ExpiryEdge at all.
Why / when to use it
Steps- Use it when an outside party (a client, auditor, insurer, or regulator) needs visibility into your compliance status but should never get real account access to your organization's data.
- Because you choose exactly which expiries are included, it's safe for partial disclosure - e.g. show a client only the deadlines relevant to their contract, not your whole organization's records.
- Prefer this over exporting a one-time PDF/report when the recipient needs an always-current, live view rather than a snapshot that goes stale.
- From the sidebar, go to Shared Compliance, then click New shared page.
- Enter a Page name (only visible to you) and optional Description, Recipient name, and Recipient email to help you remember who it's for.
- Optionally turn on password protection and set a password the recipient must enter before viewing.
- Under Select expiries to share, search and check the specific expiries you want visible - anything you don't select stays private.
- Click Create shared page. On the resulting card, click Copy share link to get a URL like `app.expiryedge.com/portal/[token]` and send it to your recipient.
- Use the Live/Paused toggle on the card to pause access without deleting the page, or the pencil/trash icons to edit or delete it. The card also shows how many times it's been opened and when.
