How to earn commissions with the Referral Program
Generate your own referral code, share your link, and earn a commission every time someone you refer subscribes.
What is it
The Referral Program lets any user generate a personal referral code/link; people who sign up through it get a discount and extended trial, and you earn an ongoing commission on their subscription payments.
Why / when to use it
Steps- Worth doing if you know other businesses that could use ExpiryEdge - it's a genuine revenue-share arrangement, not just a discount code, tracked with real dashboards on referrals, payments, and commissions.
- The discount you offer referees (and the commission you earn) are set automatically by the program - you don't need to negotiate anything, just share the link.
- From Settings, open Referrals.
- The first time, click Generate My Referral Code and choose a code (letters, numbers, and hyphens only).
- Share your link (shown as `.../signup?ref=yourcode`) directly, or with the quick-share buttons for Twitter, LinkedIn, or email.
- When someone signs up with your link, they get a discount and an extended free trial, and you earn a commission on their subscription payments.
- Track everything on the dashboard: Overview (revenue chart), Referrals (each organization you referred, expandable to see their payment history), Payments (every payment/refund/cancellation event), and Commissions (what you've earned and been paid).
